It is not necessary for the presenting author to be the first author. Anyone from the authors list can present the abstract.

Can a registered attendee submit an abstract on behalf of the presenting author?
Yes, that is possible.

Does the presenter need to be identified before the abstract submission deadline?
No, you have time until the deadline.

Is it possible to invite additional authors to be the presenting authors even if they were not authors on the original abstract?
Yes, this is possible.

Can a sponsor submit an abstract?
Yes, but the sponsor may not present. A co-author must present in this case.

Is it allowed for an industry representative to present on behalf of an academic author?
No, all presentations must be given by colleagues from academia.

Is there a limit to how many abstracts one presenting author may present during the symposium?
There is no limit to the number of abstracts that one can submit.

Are encore abstracts allowed?
Yes, encores are permitted for abstracts submission.

Is there a limit on the number of authors?
There is no limit to the number of authors on an abstract.

Can I include references in my abstract?
References are discouraged due to the word limit, but if essential, they must be included in the body of the text and count toward the word limit.

Can I include tables or figures in my abstract?
No, figures and tables are not allowed in the abstract submission.

In which language should the abstract be submitted?
All abstracts must be submitted in English.

Is there an Embargo Policy for abstracts or ePosters?
Any press releases, media alerts, or related materials describing the abstract results and findings must be embargoed until September 3rd, 2026, which is when the Bradykinin Symposium starts. As of that date, abstract authors (as well as any affiliated academic institutions, public relations/advertising/marketing companies, and private organizations and companies associated with the abstract) can promote the abstract findings and results, and any press releases, media alerts, or related materials describing the abstracts findings and results can be issued.

Is it possible to italicize or format words in the abstract?
No, formatting is not possible during or after submission. Use capital letters and blank lines instead.

What is the length of oral presentations?
If selected, presentations are 8 minutes long plus 2 minutes for questions.

Is there an additional fee to submit an abstract besides the registration fee?
No, there is no additional fee.

What is the deadline time and time zone for abstract submission?
July 15th, 23:59 Central European Time (CET).

What presentation formats are available?
Abstracts can be selected for either oral presentation or poster presentation. Authors will be informed of the final format upon notification.

Can I request a specific presentation format (oral/poster)?
You may indicate a preference during submission, but final decisions are made by the review committee.

Will oral presentations be recorded or livestreamed?
No, oral presentations will not be recorded or broadcast unless otherwise stated.

Is presenting a poster mandatory to receive a travel grant?
To be eligible for a travel grant, you must submit an abstract and expect to present either a poster or oral presentation. The reviewer will decide after July 15th.

What are the poster dimensions?
Usable area is 84.1 x 118.9 cm (WxH).

Are travel grants awarded before or after the event?
Travel grants are typically reimbursed after the event upon submission of receipts and confirmation of presentation.

Will poster boards and mounting materials be provided onsite?
Yes, poster boards and mounting materials will be available at the venue.

Does the congress offer onsite poster printing?
No, printing is not offered onsite. However, recommended local print shops are provided:

How are Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosures handled?
If your abstract is selected for oral presentation, the second slide of your presentation must include COI disclosures. More details will be provided later.

When will authors be notified about acceptance?
Due to a high number of submissions, the review deadline was extended to August 9. Notifications and instructions will be sent by calendar week 33 at the latest.

Will accepted abstracts be published on the congress website?
Yes, the abstract book will be published on the website, but it will only be accessible to registered participants.

Will rejected abstracts receive feedback?
Unfortunately, due to the high volume of submissions, individual feedback on rejected abstracts cannot be provided.

Can I withdraw my abstract after submission?
Yes, abstracts can be withdrawn before the review deadline by sending a written request to the organizing committee.
